3 Reasons to study in a constituent engineering college in a university

There are engineering colleges like Assam Engineering Colleges (AEC) & Jorhat Engineering College (JEC) which are affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). These colleges run according to rules and regulations of ASTU. The university sets the course curriculum and syllabus. Semester exams are held by ASTU like class 10th and 12th board exams.These colleges have autonomy in administrative and financial matters. Often, these colleges’ campuses may be located in different parts of the state. While a constituent college is a part of the university ecosystem. It always located inside the university campus.
