All these years, I have observed people how they talk to their bosses in closed-door meetings. There is a certain template worth mentioning that takes them to higher echelons of power. Well, there is a stark difference in approach in an open meeting. This is so strange. When you observe these people, you will find their rise to higher up. Am I sure of this thing? I may be not but I strongly feel there is a connection.
Well, this is a kind of template sometimes it will work wonders with normal people and will not affect them at all in case of an anomaly. Anomalies do exist and it's your luck.
So, coming to the point, these people start by saying good things about the boss; his recent quests and achievements. This is the way that they try to prepare a fertile ground. Then, they start talking about their recent works in line with his liking. If you do not have it, you are to find it anyway. Everyone finds something flashy to talk about.
When people grow old, they get involved in work because there is much left in their personal lives. Some may have extravagance here also. Commonly, it is rare. So, the bosses are more into work. Moreover, once you grow old, you become money-minded, you need promotions, power and increments all the time to keep the circus running. It happens to all. Once you reach a position of power, you like people who can deliver so that you can get benefits. You tend to like people who at least say something in tandem with his liking. It suits his needs above all. It sounds crude but it is what it is. Then, you can go on with your jargon.
